Job Description

In this role, the Regional Sales Manager will lead the day to day sales management for your designated markets to include all DSD partners within that region. The RSM will be responsible for: delivering a region level sales plan; achieving company revenue and profit targets; leading a field sales and marketing team, managing DSD relationships and handling regional key account calls.  The position requires strong leadership, communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Furthermore, the RSM will ensure that Bai is “top of mind” with the distributor and that the distributor’s efforts, key account calls and programs are aligned with business plans.

  • Accurate and timely forecasts for case volume, spending and profitability
  • Business planning and analysis
  • Region level sales and profit targets
  • P&L management
  • Marketplace execution
  • Quarterly reviews
  • Senior management distributor relationships
  • Training and development
  • Management routine implementation

Job Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years gourmet/specialty food or beverage experience
  • A proven track record of sales management experience & achievement
  • Distributor management skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills -- both written and verbal
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)
  • Must have a car (car allowance)
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull a minimum of 25lbs frequently
  • Must be able to walk/stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to balance on ladder
  • Must be able to reach overhead
  • Ideal candidate lives in the territory
