As a line cook, you will need to prepare the food based on orders provided by servers and keep the kitchen area clean and sanitized.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare food to customers' specifications and to safety standards
  • Check all finished food for safety and appearance
  • Keep kitchen and food preparation areas clean and sanitized
  • Ensure that all food stations are properly stocked
  • Keep the kitchen work area well-organized
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested by management

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Perform physically demanding activities, including carrying, lifting, stooping, standing for long periods of time etc.
  • Complete actions in a specific order
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and others in the work environment
  • Prior experience working in a restaurant kitchen
