Project Coordinator, Biotech R&D

C4 Therapeutics is seeking a highly talented and experienced project coordinator to contribute to the development of small molecule targeted therapeutics. 

The ideal candidate will have project management and industry experience to assist in the timely development of our novel pipeline of Degrader therapeutics, and contribute to the building and tracking of internal and external collaboration projects while adhering to budget, scope and schedule requirements.  Candidates must be adaptable to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong desire to succeed.



  • Report to Project Manager (PM) within Strategic Alliances & Project Management functions.
  • Partner with PM and project leaders to coordinate and schedule meetings, prepare agendas, capture meeting minutes, communicate action items, gather presentation materials.
  • Organize and manage project-specific information using standard communication and visualization tools such as Sharepoint sites, dashboards, summaries, timelines.
  • Provide project coordination support for external projects, interfacing with collaboration partners, project leads and teams.
  • Support PM in monitoring of activities and deliverables, progress against goals, resourcing, budget and timelines for projects
  • Help implement best practices in the development, initiation, planning and execution of all C4T drug discovery projects, internal and external
  • Build strong relationships with senior leadership, administration, operations and scientific team members. 


  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree, advanced degree in a core life science or business administration preferred.
  • 3+ years of working experience in project management for development of small molecule therapeutics
  • 3+ years of experience in biotech/pharma R&D; deep understanding of drug development process
  • Previous involvement in project management from discovery to lead selection through IND filings strongly preferred
  • Expertise in project management methodologies such as MS Project and SharePoint; proficiency in MS Office Suite; PMP certification a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously yet cooperatively in a creative, entrepreneurial and productive team environment; pro-active attitude required.
  • Excellent presentation and inter-personal skills; ability to communicate internally and externally across all levels of the organization expected.
