Hospitality Supervisors
The Royal Glenora Club is seeking an enthusiastic, member-focused Front of House Shift Lead position to support our front-of-house team in delivering warm, seamless, and memorable dining experiences.
As a key floor leader, you will help set the stage each day, ensuring our service environment is polished, efficient, and welcoming. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-centred setting and is ready to develop their leadership skills in a refined, upscale private club environment.
You will play a critical part in fostering a culture of teamwork, trust, and exceptional hospitality while supporting staff in real time and ensuring our members feel valued and well cared for during every visit. This is not a server position.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with supervising FOH team members, including hosts, bartenders, servers, and expo
- Build strong relationships with members by learning their preferences and anticipating their needs
- Greet members and guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Assist with the daily operational flow of 61 and other FOH dining spaces
- Support hands-on training to ensure the team understands expectations and service standards
- Maintain clear, respectful communication with all departments
- Participate in pre-shift meetings to communicate goals and recognize achievements
- Assist with the timely and thoughtful resolution of member concerns
- Lead by example through professionalism, accountability, and a member-first mindset
- Help ensure proper floor coverage and support throughout all service periods
- Foster a positive work environment built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect
- Provide real-time coaching and support for staff performance and service execution
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, or customer-service leadership
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead by example and support team members effectively
- A passion for creating warm, memorable guest experiences
- Confidence in fast-paced environments and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Proserve / alcohol service certification (as applicable)
