Line Cook


Line Cook Position 


·         Must be 18 years or Older.

  • Experience in full-service restaurant is desired but not limited to
  • Understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
  • Must be able to stand, walk and bend for an extended amount of time.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced line cook to assist with food preparation in our kitchen and adhere exactly to the chef’s instructions and recommendations. We are looking for someone who is willing to learn how to work in a fast-paced environment with batch cooking. The goal is to increase customer satisfaction and kitchen efficiency.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

·         Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies

·         Prepare food for service (e.g., chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)

·         Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, and other food items using knives, electric mixers, immersion blenders, food processors, scales, and portion bags.

·         Able to stand for long periods of time

·         Able to carry up to 50LBS

·         Receiving and putting away orders as they arrive. Neatly and FIFO(First In First Out)

·         Processes prepared foods for service using ovens, gas stoves, griddles, fryers and broilers

·         Assure that each item is cooked to the Chef and guest’s specifications

·         Garnish each dish properly

·         Answer, report and follow executive chef’s instructions

·         Maintains a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, broilers, sauté burners, ovens, flat top griddles, fryers and refrigeration equipment both during and after service

·         Adhere to sanitation regulations and food safety regulations

·         Stock inventory appropriately

·         Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

·         Assumes responsibility for quality, food safety/sanitation and timeliness of products served

·         Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

·         Perform other related duties as assigned by the executive chef

  • Ironpigs Kitchen Staff T-Shirt (provided)
  • Black pants (associates’ responsibility)
  • Comfortable shoes; slip resistant shoes. Regular sneakers/black shoes unacceptable (associates’ responsibility)
