Bartender provides exceptional service to the guests for the duration of the
visit by attentive and detail-oriented procedures that exceed the guest
Essential Job Functions:
Perform as a professional and personal bartender
with experienced serving and bartending skills.
Ensure positive guest experience in the dining
room and bar.
Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate
Responsible for shift duties set-up, stocking
and closing procedures.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
Stay updated on current menu choices,
specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of
any items, etc.
Monitor and observe guests dining and bar
experience. Ensure guests are satisfied
with the food and beverage service.
Notify manager-on-duty any time a guest is not
100% satisfied with their experience.
Perform the following tasks through effective
communication: describing specials, food
and beverage ordering and suggestive selling.
Accountable for proper clearing procedures and
marking the table according to policy.
Demonstrate positive teamwork with all staff
Responsible for timely pick-up and delivery of
food and beverage orders.
Accountable for correct completion of all final
payment transaction for the guest check, verified by management at the end of
Attend service meetings and is responsible for
following policy and service updates given by the Saint Boniface management
In addition to
the essential functions listed above, the employee is expected to exercise
honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers, maintain a
professional appearance and demeanor, demonstrate a positive attitude,
communicate effectively with co-workers and clients, work with accuracy,
efficiency, and attention to detail, respect the work environment and keep it
as neat and clean as possible. Also, the
employee must exercise initiative to learn new skills and tasks and to help
co-workers when possible. The employee is also expected to perform
such other duties and functions as required from time to time.
Must have a high school diploma and minimum
one-year experience in the service or hospitality industry and be 18 years old.
Must have bartending experience, RAMP
certification is required.
Must have the ability to coordinate and
manipulate tasks while maintaining required standards of operation daily.
Must be customer focused with strong sales
skill, good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to comprehend and take direction from

variety of electrical equipment (coffee maker, hot water dispenser, blender,
cutlery. Work with a POS computer
system. In addition, work with a variety
of basic office equipment (computers, phones, calculators, etc…).
