Duties
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in designated areas
- Conduct floor care tasks such as buffing, polishing, and maintaining various flooring types
- Utilize custodial equipment and cleaning supplies efficiently and safely
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs or touch-ups
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned
- Ensure all cleaning activities comply with health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and polishing
- Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools effectively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderate loads as required
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
