About the Role:
We are currently seeking motivated, articulate, and community-minded individuals to join our team as Community Programs Representatives (Internship). This internship provides an exceptional opportunity for current college students to gain hands-on experience in public outreach, community engagement, and program promotion.
As a Community Programs Representative, you will travel to various outreach sites, events, and community venues to represent our organization. You will serve as a key point of connection between our programs and the public, helping to educate and inspire participation. Candidates must be comfortable driving locally and must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a public-facing representative of the organization at scheduled community events and outreach locations.
Engage with residents to provide program information, answer questions, and promote community involvement.
Assist with event setup, material distribution, and breakdown at each outreach site.
Document attendance and participant feedback, reporting to program leadership.
Collaborate with the outreach team to maximize the reach and impact of events and initiatives.
Travel independently to multiple outreach locations across Anaheim and surrounding cities.
Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university (preferred majors: Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or Social Sciences).
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; able to connect confidently with diverse community members.
Comfortable driving locally on a regular basis; must have:
A valid California driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle
Strong sense of initiative, accountability, and professionalism.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Previous experience in customer service, events, or community outreach is a plus.
