Senior Field Technician

• Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Field-Based)
• Compensation: $65-$85k + bonus + benefits

Are you a seasoned Field Technician who thrives in complex environments and knows how to solve problems without waiting for direction?

We’re hiring a Senior Field Technician in Salt Lake City, UT to support advanced installations, troubleshooting, and client-facing technical work. This is a high-impact role for someone who can step into the field, assess issues quickly, and deliver solutions with confidence.

If you have strong experience with networking, sensors, or technical systems, and you’re comfortable owning projects independently, this is built for you.

• Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of technical systems in the field
• Troubleshoot complex networking, sensor, and system-level issues in real-time
• Serve as the on-site technical expert for clients and internal stakeholders
• Handle escalations and resolve high-priority technical challenges
• Work independently to assess environments, identify risks, and implement solutions
• Document field activity, system performance, and resolutions clearly

• 5+ years of experience as a Field Technician, Field Service Technician, or similar role
• Strong background in troubleshooting, installation, and system diagnostics
• Experience with networking (IP-based systems), sensors, or technical equipment
• Proven ability to work independently in the field with minimal supervision
• Comfortable interacting directly with clients and managing expectations
• Ability to navigate and solve problems in complex, fast-moving environments

• Experience in industrial, life sciences, or technical field service environments
• Familiarity with IoT systems, automation, or instrumentation
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• High level of autonomy and ownership in the field
