Bai is looking for a Manager, International Sales to join our winning team. This position reports to the Senior VP, Innovation and Global Sourcing and is primarily responsible for developing a strategic business plan for markets, enabling the company to meet international sales goals and profitability. This position requires an energetic, effective self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who can excel in an international sales environment.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Develop business plan and strategy for 3 major markets that ensures attainment of company international sales goals and profitability.

  • Prepare action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search for international sales leads and prospects.

  • Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate international markets.

  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding international sales performance.

  • Maintains accurate records of all international pricings, sales and activity reports.

  • Creates and conducts proposal presentations to dealers, customers, internal staff.

  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines.

  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.

  • Insures that all international sales personnel meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments, presentations, proposals and closes.

  • Maintains contact with all customers in the international market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Demonstrates the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

  • Designs and recommends international sales and marketing programs.

  • Sets short- and long-term international sales strategies.

  • Must be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.

  • Must work to develop and maintain international business contacts.

 

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, AND SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • 5+ years sales experience and 3+ years international experience with an emphasis on international business development required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.

  • Fluency in English and at least one other related language a major plus but not required.

  • Energetic, effective, self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills who is able to excel in an international sales environment.

  • Technologically advanced and oriented. Must have above average computer and technical skills to navigate the communication barriers of frequent international travel.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills and a thorough knowledge various international cultures.

  • Customer service oriented and organized.

  • Proven ability to hire, build, and lead successful sales teams.

  • Must have a natural ability to engage in business relationships with individuals and groups and a desire to improve these talents.

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

  • Strong team skills

  • Ability to work in extremely fast-paced and evolving hyper-growth environment

  • Experience working successfully within the constraints of a growing business
