Legal Services of North Florida, in partnership with the Legal Aid Foundation of Tallahassee, has a vacant, grant-funded position for a Project Manager as part of their Second Circuit Pro Bono Transformation project. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination and implementation of the goals and objectives of the Pro Bono Transformation Project, ensuring that completion of the project remains aligned with the Transformation Assessment Report completed in December 2018. In addition to duties under the Pro Bono Transformation Project, the project manager will provide support for other LSNF pro bono and community initiatives. The position is anticipated to last for one year.
Responsibilities and duties include convening meetings, developing project plans, monitoring/tracking progress, implementing recommendations of the report, supporting LSNF and LAF staff in the implementation of report recommendations, managing stakeholder relations, meeting budgetary objectives and adjusting as needed, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Applicants should have proven working experience in project management, with preference given to candidates with experience within the field of civil law. Candidates must have strong organizational and communication skills, as well as a high level of comfort with technology and systems development. Ability to work independently and in team environments, to analyze complex issues and to obtain results to positively impact the client and community will also be considered. This position will report to the Executive Directors of both LSNF and LAF.
Base salary is $36,400, negotiable depending on experience. . Comprehensive fringe benefits package includes paid holidays, paid vacation (which after two years, increases to five weeks per year), sick leave, and, after sixty days, fully paid health insurance for employee & dependent children, retirement plan, term life, and disability insurance.
