Part-Time Teller (Application must be completed for consideration)
This position would be Monday - Thursday with normal banking hours.
Essential Functions are listed below:Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, and other transactions.Balance cash drawer daily and maintain proper cash levels at all times.Work night deposit bags and cash items, as applicable.Count and verify cash and coin received from customers or the Federal Reserve.Issue cashier’s checks, money orders, and other official bank items, as applicable.Place holds, process stop payments, and update customer account information.Prepare and balance ATM cash, if applicable.Assist in locating and resolving cash discrepancies.Serve as safe deposit attendant by assisting customers with opening, closing and accessing safe deposit boxes.Answer telephone calls in a professional and helpful manner.Handle special or unusual customer transactions with professionalism and accuracy.Accept assignments at other branch locations as needed to maintain adequate staffing.
Must have the following experience and skills:Strong customer service and communication skillsBasic mathematical proficiency and attention to detailAbility to operate basic office and banking equipmentAbility to multitaskDependable, professional and able to work well in a team environment
