Marketing Communications Administrator

Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Marketing Communications Administrator. 

The Marketing Communications Administrator is a key support role in our marketing team and is responsible for handling various administrative tasks and ensuring smooth and effective communication of important updates and marketing-related activities company wide. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and a collaborative spirit.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage promotional marketing inventory; distribute apparel and marketing materials

Collect participant forms, organize participant information, and track event logistics including the coordination and distribution of promotional materials for Kerr related events and training 

Create and manage marketing activities calendar

Track important deadlines with event vendors and suppliers 

Build and manage supplier literature inventory (physical and digital)

Organize and manage Kerr branding assets and materials (physical and digital)

Answer info line and public site general inquiries, and distribute communication requests across the company to the appropriate persons

Update Company Portal 

Keep the team advised of priority and time-sensitive marketing updates with frequent follow-up (phone and email)

Receive and code marketing related activity invoices and send to accounts payable 

Track available vendor co-op advertising funds


Qualifications: 

Diploma or degree Communications, Business, or related field preferred; with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Sharepoint), basic knowledge of CRM systems; experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a plus.

Detail-oriented with strong multitasking and project management abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication.

An efficient self-starter who can work productively as an independent, but also has a positive team player attitude who can work collaboratively in a group setting
