Manager of Financial Reporting

We are seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting to join our high-performing Finance team. In this role, you will lead our corporate reporting and regulatory compliance initiatives. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver timely, accurate reporting, provide strategic insights, and ensure compliance with IFRS and public company obligations. What You’ll Do
Oversee the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS, taking full ownership of external financial reporting
Manage all aspects of public company filings, including MD&A, Annual Information Form, AGM materials, ESG reports, and continuous disclosure requirements
Drive investor relations deliverables by leading the development of press releases, earnings call materials, and investor presentation decks
Support the month-end close process with reviews of biological asset valuations, fixed assets, equity, debt, and tax filings
Oversee treasury and cash management, including forecasting, payment approvals, and monitoring liquidity
Maintain accurate, timely, and insightful internal and external financial reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
Maintain and implement accounting policies to ensure compliance with IFRS and other regulatory standards
Provide executive-level financial analysis, including benchmarking, variance analysis, and performance commentary
Coordinate audits and act as the main liaison with external auditors, managing timelines and deliverables
Lead or contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analyses to drive operational efficiency and business insight
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation strongly preferred
Solid understanding of IFRS and public company reporting requirements
4+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, ideally with exposure to public company environments
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data to senior leadership
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
