Financial Coordinator - Houston, TX
EPSI Worx is seeking two Financial Coordinators to support our client in Houston, TX. The Financial Coordinator is a crucial member of the finance team, responsible for supporting the company's financial operations and contributing to its overall fiscal health. This role requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a strong understanding of financial principles and practices. The Financial Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage financial documentation, and play a key role in budgeting, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Management:
- Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and analysis of budgets to ensure alignment with company goals.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Oversee timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with established policies.
Financial Reporting:
- Generate and analyze financial reports, providing insights into the company's financial performance.
Expense Tracking:
- Manage and track expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and identifying cost optimization opportunities.
Vendor Management:
- Cultivate positive relationships with vendors, negotiate terms, and address financial concerns.
Audit Support:
- Facilitate internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance.
Financial Documentation:
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and relevant documentation.
Financial Software:
- Utilize financial software systems to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience in financial coordination or a similar role.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail in financial data management.
