Fuselage Ready Task Manager
POSITION SUMMARY:
Fuselage Ready Task Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all activities necessary to prepare the fuselage for installation within the aircraft build program. This role ensures proper sequencing, material availability, and alignment with production timelines across structural installations, systems routing, OEM component removals, floor pallet and liner prep, wire routing, and insulation installation. The manager acts as the primary liaison between Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, and Production teams to remove obstacles, maintain focus on priorities, and ensure the phase meets milestone readiness targets.
EXAMPLES OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
1. Lead and coordinate all activities related to fuselage readiness in support of the aircraft program.
2. Manage sequencing and status of tasks including structural installations, electrical and systems routing, OEM component removals, floor modifications, and insulation.
3. Collaborate closely with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Production teams to ensure materials and labor are aligned for smooth workflow.
4. Facilitate and lead daily coordination meetings to maintain alignment and address issues.
5. Track phase progress, identify blockers, and escalate risks proactively to maintain schedule integrity.
6. Communicate phase status, milestones, and issues regularly to Production Leads and executive leadership.
7. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and enhance phase efficiency.
8. Ensure proper documentation of lessons learned and process changes for future improvements.
9. Maintain a calm and professional leadership presence in a fast-paced, detail-driven production environment.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, LICENSES, ETC:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical or manufacturing experience preferred.
2. 3+ years in aircraft production, planning, or operations support preferred.

1. Knowledge of aircraft build processes, especially fuselage structure, systems routing, and production phases.
2. Highly organized and detail-oriented to manage complex schedules, materials, and workflows.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills, comfortable leading meetings and coordinating cross-department efforts.
4. Effective problem-solver who anticipates and resolves issues before impacting production.
5. Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with Planning, Procurement, Warehouse, Engineering, and Production.
6. Decisive and able to make informed decisions quickly to maintain progress.
7. Calm and professional under pressure in high-urgency environments.
8. Accountability-driven, owns the phase, and ensures work is completed on time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires a consistent floor presence in the aircraft production area, including hangars, warehouse zones, and staging areas. Must be able to navigate between departments to monitor tasks and drive coordination. Exposure to variable temperatures, noise, and movement of aircraft and parts is expected. Occasional outdoor exposure is required while interacting with field personnel or inspecting readiness conditions.

INTRODUCTORY PERIOD
Please note that you will be on a ninety (90) day probation, during which your performance will be evaluated. Comlux shall periodically review your performance and ability to perform each of the essential functions of your position identified above prior to the expiration of the probationary period. If you fail to pass the performance review or display behavioral issues or fail to meet expectations for reporting to work on time as scheduled, you shall be considered as having failed to qualify for continued employment during the probationary period, in which case Comlux shall be entitled to immediately terminate your employment.
