- Must be available to work 10AM-6PM shift including weekends and holidays (Easter Break required for high school student applicants)
- Must be a good swimmer
- Lifeguard Certification extremely helpful, but will consider others willing to take a lifeguard certification course
- Post-offer, pre-employment drug test and criminal background check required

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Regular attendance
· The ability to lead and work as part of a team
· Wear a skid-resistant work shoe with good support (Putt-putt only)
Water Park Attendant/Water Park Lifeguard
· Collect money/daily coupons at the entrance to the Water Park and turn into a supervisor.
· Check armbands to make sure the guest has paid, if not, contact the supervisor.
· Be thoroughly familiar with procedures to handle emergencies and injuries and give assistance in the treatment of injuries when needed.
· Be alert at all times and ready to protect guests. Watch for distress signals, eg: screams, help, crying.
· Ensure safety rules are enforced. Issues of non-compliance should be brought to the attention of the supervisor.
· Follow thru on responsibilities at each work station.
· Assist to keep the park clean at all times. Arrange the chairs neatly and collect towels at the end of the day.
· Be courteous, helpful and cheerful at all times. Be friendly. Answer guest questions or refer to the manager.
· Sweep the children’s activity pool.
· Maintain the hut in a clean and neat manner
· Ensure safety rules are followed
· Maintain adequate inventory level
· Keep the golf balls and clubs ready for guests to use
· Keep area clean and presentable
· Provide instruction as requested
· Instruct guest on proper safety rules when needed and use of equipment
· Collect and count money, make a change per request
· Balance cash drawer daily
· Sweep the carpets on the 9 hole miniature golf course
Water Park Ticket Booth Attendant
· Be on time and in the booth 15 minutes prior to the booth opening.
· Enter guest data into the computer database prior to issuing a wristband.
· Contact your supervisor if you do not have the FVP report daily.
· Ensure every person who is on the Family Value package receives a band.
· Address all guest concerns respectfully, cheerfully, and with a positive attitude.
· Keep booth neat, clean, and presentable.
· Remain in the booth at all times except for any scheduled break for meal/restroom.
· Contact Supervisor immediately for any guest concerns you are not authorized to handle.
· Only assigned employee(s) are authorized to be in the booth.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
American Red Cross lifeguard certification to include Lifeguard Today and Professional Rescuer.
