Senior Banking Operations Specialist
Position Summary:
This position reports to the Banking Operations & Systems Director in the Banking Operations Department and is responsible for performing duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific support occupation. Position may require learning new systems and performing Banking Operations functions as needed. Occasional use of personal vehicle may be required.
Essential Functions:
- Assist Manager and Assistant Manager with work related supervision of employees in Banking Operations.
- Provide work related guidance and instruction to employees in Banking Operations.
- Assist Manager with projects, policies, and procedures.
- Review high risk maintenance reports to assure proper maintenance was performed by staff.
- Assist, as needed, in all areas of Banking Operations, including customer identification and authorization, policy adherence, and general support.
- Review product and account level documents for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to policy.
- Review system reports for various verification and dual control purposes.
- Perform data entry.
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanners, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
- Learn to operate new technologies as they are developed and implemented.
- All duties assigned.

Working Conditions:
The work for this position is conducted in a back office of our bank and the requirement for travel is limited. Travel for training may be required from time to time. This position could require overtime depending on work load, which first must be requested and approved by management.
Experience and Education:
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate); Minimum 5 years related banking experience. 5 plus years of management experience preferred.
