CNC Milling Operator

We are currently hiring for a full-time CNC Milling Operator for our manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. A CNC Operator produces machined parts by programming, setting up and operating a CNC machine, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

 

As a CNC Milling Operator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

 

  • Programming and operating CNC machines
  • Selecting tooling and set up methods to produce parts in the most efficient manner
  • Reviewing and interpreting drawings to ensure all specifications are met
  • Modifying machine speed, tooling and cutting styles to ensure precision and accuracy of manufactured parts
  • Ensuring quality on all parts and enforcing the Fidelity quality standard ISO & AS9100
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing common CNC problems
  • Use of various hand tools
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks and tool calibrations as needed
  • Following all health and safety regulations and controlled goods requirements

Qualifications:

  • Comfortability in a physically demanding role including standing for long periods of time, repetitive tasks/movements and potentially lifting heavy objects up to 50 lbs
