Location: Orange, NJ
A Skilled Nursing Facility in Orange, NJ is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join its clinical team. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring prior experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting.
The LPN will provide direct resident care, medication administration, and clinical support within a structured SNF environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to the RN or physician
- Perform wound care and treatments within LPN scope of practice
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
- Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with New Jersey regulations and infection control standards
- Support resident safety, dignity, and quality of care
Required Qualifications
- Active New Jersey LPN license required
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as an LPN in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting required
- Strong medication administration and documentation skills
- Experience managing multiple residents in a fast-paced SNF environment
- Familiarity with EMR systems
