Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - Private Pediatrics FT or PT Positions

Summerwood Pediatrics is a well-established, progressive office. We are a primary care practice caring for children from birth to 22 years of age. Our team of board-certified physicians, nationally certified nurse practitioners, and NYS licensed nurses provides cutting-edge health care to patients in a friendly, welcoming environment.

***MUST BE A CERTIFIED MEDICAL ASSISTANT (CMA) *** Starting range depends on experience $18.00 to $20.00 per hour. FT or PT positions available. 

Job Responsibilities:

• Triage patients.
• Assist in our comprehensive on-site laboratory
• phlebotomy and sample collection
• Perform vision/hearing/EKG testing, document patient communications in the medical record
• Perform duties and assist providers as part of the practice care team
• Establishes and maintains good interpersonal relationships with patients, families, the public, and co-workers.

Qualifications:

• Completion of MA program with certification 
• Phlebotomy
• Knowledge of medical processes; health care systems, structure, and functions
• Knowledge of state law regarding medical assisting, practice guidelines, and office policies and procedures
• Experience with electronic medical records. (Medent) a plus

Must be available to work some evenings and occasional half-day Saturdays in the morning. 

Salary commensurate with experience.
