Senior Regional Construction Scheduler

Struction Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Regional Construction Scheduler to join our team. This role reports directly to the Senior Construction Manager for Scheduling and Estimating and plays a critical role in ensuring project timelines, monitoring schedules, and supporting upper management in achieving key performance indicators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Project Schedulers to ensure project timelines are met and coordinate with OARs, Senior Project Managers, site staff, and contractors.
- Provide regular schedule updates and reports to executive management.
- Assess and forecast staffing needs, making recommendations for improvements.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, identifying relationships, logic, milestones, and constraints for various construction projects.
- Interpret and analyze detailed construction drawings (Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Civil, etc.) to ensure a clear understanding of project scope.
- Review and verify Contractor Baseline Schedule submissions, ensuring proper scope identification and logical sequencing.
- Conduct QA/QC reviews on contractor schedule submittals, assessing contract compliance, critical path accuracy, cost/resource loading, and milestone tracking.
- Perform Time Impact Analysis (TIA) for change orders affecting construction schedules and assist in schedule negotiations.
- Analyze project scope against contract terms to determine compensable/non-compensable time extensions.
- Execute Critical Path and Earned Value Analysis to monitor project performance.
- Conduct site walks as needed to verify contractor progress and report findings to project OAR and upper management.
- Communicate effectively with contractors regarding schedule and progress-related matters in weekly status meetings and other relevant discussions.
- Perform regular QA/QC reviews of Program and Master Schedules and provide bi-monthly status updates.
- Prepare and present reports to management as needed.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of full-time professional experience in Construction Scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably in educational facilities or public works projects.
- Strong proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management from a recognized college or university.
- OR
- A bachelor’s degree in any field, plus an additional two (2) years of experience performing the duties outlined above to compensate for the required education.

- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with project teams and department staff.
- Deep understanding of cost engineering, scheduling methodologies, and schedule forensics.
