Tewksbury Country Club is seeking a Full-Time Food & Beverage Manager who will oversee & manage the operations of the Food & Beverage department including both Restaurant & Events. Responsible for the planning, organizing, training & leadership necessary to achieve stated objectives in sales, customer service & satisfaction, quality, costs and employee retention. Must be willing to create and maintain a positive, productive working environment. Candidate will be responsible for employment, discipline and termination decisions, and be able to create a fair schedule while controlling labor cost.
This position will require knowledge of POS systems, understanding financial reports and annual budgets. You will be responsible for maintaining standard food, labor and liquor percentages set forth by the Team on a daily basis. Vast experience in the restaurant & event industry is required and candidates should be professionals with drive and diplomacy who want to be part of a growing company and a dynamic team. Essential skills & qualifications include:
• Restaurant or Event Manager/Assistant GM: 2 years
• Ability to organize workloads & meet deadlines
• Strong leadership & team management skills
• Strong POS knowledge & necessary administrative software
• Maintain food safety & allergen certifications, First Aid, CPR, AED & Crowd Manager
• Strong communication skills & be able to implement & follow company procedures
• Ability to problem solve
• Previous experience preparing & understanding financial reports & budget
• Report to and work alongside upper management team
• Must be available to work a variety of shifts including weekday, weeknights & weekends
