Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Front End Manager to lead our Front End department. This key leadership role is responsible for ensuring a high-functioning and customer-focused front-of-store experience. You’ll manage and support the Cash Team—including Assistant Managers, Supervisors, Head Cashiers, Cashiers, and Door Greeters—while creating an environment that is welcoming, efficient, and aligned with our values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily Front End operations and uphold a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and customer satisfaction

  • Lead, coach, and develop front-end staff, fostering a team-oriented, service-driven culture

  • Hire, onboard, and train new team members; maintain all employee documentation

  • Ensure compliance with labour standards, company policies, and health and safety regulations

  • Prepare effective team schedules while managing labour hours and minimizing overtime

  • Manage daily cash-outs, deposits, and related financial processes

  • Handle customer concerns professionally, ensuring a positive resolution and experience

  • Communicate consistently with the General Manager and HR on staffing, policy, and performance matters

  • Proven leadership experience in retail, hospitality, or a customer-facing environment

  • Strong interpersonal and coaching skills with a team-first mindset

  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication abilities

  • Confidence in making decisions, solving operational issues, and engaging with customers

  • A commitment to upholding health and safety standards

  • Availability for flexible scheduling, including weekends and holidays as needed

Bonus Points For

  • Prior experience managing large retail teams

  • Familiarity with cash handling and reconciliation processes

  • Understanding of WorkSafeBC and BC labour standards
