Infrastructure and Security Administrator
Position Overview: The position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's Information Technology department, including but not limited to infrastructure, systems, networks, security, and support services. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional leadership abilities, strong technical expertise, and a proven track record of implementing and managing IT initiatives that align with business objectives. Must live within 2 hours of Lexington, KY or Cincinnati, OH
Key Responsibilities:
- Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and cloud services. Ensure scalability, reliability, and security of systems and networks to support business operations.
- Security and Compliance: Develop and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and protocols to protect the company's data, networks, and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities. Stay abreast of industry best practices and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners. Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing to optimize value and performance.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize IT processes, workflows, and systems. Leverage data and analytics to measure performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Strong technical expertise in areas such as infrastructure management, network administration, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA, MCSE) are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in operating systems such as Windows desktop OSs and Windows Server.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Deep understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices.
