Biohabitats, a leading conservation planning, ecological restoration, regenerative design, and construction firm is seeking an Office Manager to join our Chesapeake & Delaware Bay Bioregion (located in Baltimore, MD).
The Office Manager will be responsible for the coordination of administrative duties throughout the organization. Although the position will be located in the Baltimore office, the position is responsible for developing and providing a consistent approach to the administrative responsibilities company-wide, ensuring our operations are an embodiment of our core values.
Attention to detail, an enthusiasm for collaboration, strong communication skills, self-motivation and a passion for the environment are essential. We are a small organization looking for team players who are able to adapt to changing workloads and priorities and possess strong organizational skills.
» Develop and maintain budgets for office and other ongoing expenses.
» Manage computer & software needs, including new software implementation and applicable training, with outside IT consultant.
» Oversee file management of shared administrative documents on SharePoint Site
» Seek opportunities with like-minded vendors and coordinate with technical staff to meet project equipment needs.
» Administer state licenses and renewals in coordination with Operations Team Leader.
» Liaison with landlords on all lease renewals and necessary improvements.
» A proficiency of Office 365 programs (particularly Excel, Word, Teams and SharePoint)
» Ability to adapt to and learn new technology platforms quickly.
» Excellent organizational and verbal and written communication skills.
» Ability to work independently, take initiative, and prioritize tasks.
» Experience with Deltek Vision is advantageous to this position but not required
B.S. in Business Administration or equivalent
2-5 years acting in a similar role
