Cost Credit Analyst - Part-time

POSITION SUMMARY
Under
the direct supervision of the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accountant,
the Cost/Credit Analyst would support our finance team by assisting with
several department functions. Position is Part-time (20-25 hours per week
with potential for more as we grow).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Costing individual custom jobs that we have manufactured to help the organization understand profitability by customer, product, etc.
- Accounts receivable management – cash application, sending payment inquiries for late payments.
- Credit analysis- checking references for new customers for the establishment of credit lines.
- Assisting in accounts payable management – matching receipts to POs to invoices, data entry, filing, etc.
EDUCATION AND /OR EXPERIENCE
- Finance, Accounting, or strong bookkeeping interest/experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated with a desire to learn.
- Detail oriented, highly methodical, and accurate.
- Dependability and accountability to position schedule.
