At North Texas Therapy & Home Care (NTT&HC), we provide specialized pediatric therapy services to children and families throughout the Dallas Metroplex. While our office is located in the heart of North Dallas, our clinicians deliver skilled interventions across the entire Metroplex, ensuring families receive quality care wherever they are.

As a therapist-owned and operated practice, we understand the needs of our clinicians and provide the personal attention, mentoring, and career support required to succeed in the field of pediatric therapy. We create individualized care plans that empower our patients to look beyond immediate goals and achieve their fullest potential. With a collaborative, family-centered approach, we strive to provide a therapeutic and comfortable environment for every child we serve.

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy
  • License to practice physical therapy in the state of Texas
  • Experience in pediatrics required (New grads must have a minimum of 6 weeks of pediatric PT experience - can include internship)
  • Home health experience preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish a plus
  • Must carry valid auto insurance and drivers license.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skilled physical therapy services in the home or daytime facility of patients 0-21 years of age, 2 or more times per week, in accordance with physician orders
  • Define the patients degree and type of physical and gross motor impairment(s) by selecting and administering the most appropriate testing instruments
  • Interpret diagnostic data and prepare written diagnostic reports
  • In collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, plan and evaluate team goals for each patient as well as advise, consult, and instruct the team in specific physical therapy modalities and interventions
  • Plan for and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions
  • Educate staff, caregivers, and patients by designing and delivering training, printed material/resources and in-service programs in accordance with the total physical therapy program
  • May provide supervision to Certified Physical Therapy Assistants
