Medical Assistant (Primary Roomer)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to serve as a primary roomer in our clinical setting. This role is responsible for preparing patients for provider visits, supporting clinical workflows, and ensuring a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and prepare them for provider visits, including collecting vitals, reviewing medications, and documenting chief complaints
• Accurately document patient information in eClinicalWorks (eCW)
• Conduct patient callbacks regarding lab results, provider instructions, and follow-up care
• Relay messages between patients and providers in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with scheduling follow-up appointments and coordinating care
• Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms
• Support providers with basic clinical and administrative tasks

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant required
• Familiarity with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
