Job Title: Community Housing Nurse Advisor
Location: Parksville, BC
Position Type: Part time (12-16 hours/week)
Wage: $48 - $55 per hour

We are seeking Part‑Time Nursing Support to work alongside a dedicated team in a staffed, home‑like group home for children and youth, funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). This role supports young people with medical and complex health needs in a calm, relationship‑based environment — where connection, consistency, and care matter.
Role Responsibilities
As part of the team, you’ll provide nursing support and health oversight in a community setting, working closely with the Program Manager and frontline staff.
This role may include:
- Supporting medical and health‑related needs of children and youth
- Providing health oversight, including medication monitoring and coordination with the care team
- Supporting care planning and health documentation
- Offering guidance, coaching, and training to staff
- Collaborating with internal teams and external health professionals-
- Providing on-call support

-Vulnerable sector CRC & MCFD Hub Screening (employer facilitated)
