Azure Architect

We are looking for a contract AZURE ARCHITECT to work with our development team.

In this role, you will:

· Establish a secure, cost-effective, and well-architected Azure environment

· Evaluate and identify areas in Azure that we can leverage to enhance our operations.

· Improve visibility through creation of comprehensive dashboards and alerting.

· Design architectural approach improvements for the next generation of products.

· Implement application logging and identify opportunities to further strengthen Azure environment security.

· Analyze cost optimization opportunities.

· Frequently collaborate with Director of Software Engineering, Director of Systems, and VP of Security Assurance on technology roadmap.

· Implement new processes and enhance existing ones to drive continuous improvement.

What Do You Need?

· A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or relevant work experience.

· 10+ years working within engineering teams, with 4+ years spent in an architect role in an Azure environment.

· Proficient and hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Services, specifically with Entra and Entra Custom Policies.

· Proven ability to lay the framework for enterprise software applications.

· Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).

· Excellent knowledge of scalable application design and architecture.

· Willingness to investigate and explore new technologies while evaluating their value.

· A technical mindset with great attention to detail.

· Outstanding communication and presentation abilities.
