Haskell Programmer
The Haskell Programmer will design, install, configure, and test specialized software.
Status: Full-time
Location: Remote/Hybrid/MW Office
Roles and Responsibilities:
General duties include:
· Write tested high – performance, maintainable code in Haskell
· Deliver working software in short sprints
· Help invent novel solutions for hard problems
· Help grow our engineering team
· Other duties as assigned Other duties may be assigned.
Education/Experience:
· Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications:
· Significant experience with Haskell to build production systems or complex personal projects, or to make major OSS contributions
· Skilled at working with SQL relation databases. Experience with MS Sql Server is a plus.
· Experience building REST API services using functional languages and design principles
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Strong trouble shooting skills
· Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
· Strong communication skills
Additional Preferred Skills:
· Experience with Purescript or Ghcjs (reflex)
· Experience with Docker deployment and Continuous integration
· Able to work in small, self-sufficient team with the shared goal of delivering excellent software anchored in an agile culture of quality, delivery, and innovation
