$20 - $23/hour

Our Client is seeking a Clinical Research Assistant (COVID-19) to
support the Infectious Disease Clinical Research Program (IDCRP) located at the
William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, TX. Our client provides
scientific, technical and programmatic support services IDCRP. U.S. citizenship
The incumbent will perform data collection by conducting research
interviews. Recruits and screens subjects for research studies. Collects
baseline and follow up data from subjects. Maintains regulatory and study
files. Data entry
1. Establishes and maintains database files and progress reports for
studies, projects and programs.
2. Performs administrative duties such as: assisting in maintaining study
database and files as well as scheduling study appointments; assisting in
developing and submitting grants, papers and abstracts, manuscripts and
presenting studies, developing protocol manuals and data collection
instruments; participates in field visits.
3. Assists with the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and
presentations including editing and formatting documents.
4. Screens and assists with consenting study subjects and assists with
processing lab specimens.
5. Assists with processing/shipping lab specimens.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must obtain security clearance for “study site” and
computer access, have/obtain required immunizations/titers, BLS. Good
communication and organizational skills. Direct experience working in a
research or clinical environment.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience/ Training Requirements: 0-2 years of relevant work experience required.
Environment: Set in a clinical research environment. Occasional
evening or weekend if required for participant research activities
U.S. citizenship required; eligible to obtain and maintain a Tier III
Investigation/ Secret Clearance and Common Access Card (CAC).
