Vertical Health Services has three skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities in the St. Joseph, MO vicinity - all within 15 minutes of each other. They all have beautiful rehabilitation spaces including spacious gyms, functional ADL spaces (we have a mock home complete with kitchen and laundry!), and a private treatment room for cognitive training, as well as outdoor space for a change of environment. Our compassionate and dedicated nursing team communicates well with our therapy team and contributes heavily to our interdisciplinary approach to care. We also have a fun, interactive, high-energy in-house therapy team. Our amazing administrators lead by example and is professional, knowledgeable, reliable, accountable, and compassionate. We see a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological diagnoses and both short-term rehab patients as well as long-term care residents. We are a newly formed healthcare company whose goal is to become the premier inpatient rehab provider in the communities we serve.
We are looking for a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated staff and float among our three facilities as needed depending on caseload. We seek an SLP who is a self-motivated healthcare professional with a passion for thinking out of the box, developing patient-centered clinical programming, and providing outstanding care to meet the diverse needs of our patients.
Our portfolio of skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation facilities in the Kansas City and Buchanon County regions is under new ownership and excellent leadership. Requirements of the job:
- Valid state license
- Completion of accredited therapy program
- Some experience in a skilled nursing setting is a plus but we welcome therapists with all levels of experience to apply.
