We are seeking a customer-focused Warehouse Manager to support the team at our location in Calgary, AB.

Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role will lead the general warehouse activities for the branch, including the shipping and receiving department, general inventory, picking parts for customer orders, and deliveries. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing great customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. 

What you will do:


  • Manage a team of 8-12 employees by ensuring operational requirements and customer demands are met on a consistent basis
  • Coach staff to follow FGI's customer service standards and core values with all external and internal customers
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers, warehouse staff, and management
  • Ensure all customer orders are picked accurately and on time by managing the workload demands
  • Ensure shipping and receiving orders are accurate based on shipping documentation
  • Ensure deliveries are completed on time by overseeing logistics and dispatching trucks to transport products to customers
  • Champion FGI's safety culture by performing all duties within established procedures and practices 
  • Perform all duties per established safe work procedures and practices, including the use of PPE
  • Support and lead the warehouse staff, including performance evaluations, continuous improvement initiatives, and attendance
  • Other duties as required

What we require:


  • Minimum five (5)+ years of progressively responsible experience in a warehouse role, combined with two (2) years of warehouse management experience
  • Demonstrated experience managing 8-12 team members in the warehouse
  • Experience with inventory management preferred
  • Must be able to operate standard warehouse equipment (forklifts, RF scanners, waves) 
  • Experience in aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and technology – Able to learn in-house systems.
  • Must meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift to 75 – 100lbs, frequent standing and walking, reading small print and numbers
