Position OverviewThe Territory Sales Representative – Grocery / CPG (Food Broker) is responsible for managing approximately 200 supermarket locations within an assigned territory. This field-based sales role focuses on strengthening relationships with store managers, department managers, and category buyers while driving product distribution, merchandising, and promotional execution.
You will play a key role in helping brands grow shelf presence, increase sales velocity, and execute retail programs at store level.
The role reports to the Retail Lead and participates in weekly virtual team meetings via Microsoft Teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesTerritory Management

Conduct regular in-store sales visits across assigned supermarkets

Manage relationships with store managers, department managers, and category buyers

Ensure strong retail merchandising, product placement, and display execution
Sales & Distribution Growth

Present new products and line extensions to stores

Secure product distribution and additional shelf placement

Drive secondary displays, promotions, and POS materials
Retail Execution & Reporting

Perform store audits and merchandising checks using GoSpotCheck

Track product placement, displays, and promotional activity

Communicate opportunities, competitive insights, and store feedback
Collaboration & Brand Support

Partner with brand principals and internal sales leadership

Participate in ride-alongs with clients and team members

Support territory sales strategy and category growth initiatives
Required Experience
-
Experience in CPG sales, grocery sales, or food broker sales

Experience working with supermarket chains or grocery retailers
-
Category exposure preferred: meat, deli, dairy, grocery, bakery, or frozen foods
