The JDK Group Catering & Events is Central PA’s premier custom catering and event-planning company where clients, and their special life moments, come first. With over 25 years of event management experience and the ability to plan a celebration for 15 to 15,000 people, our talented and passionate team offers exceptional guest service, award winning food, and innovative event design. So what is it that we are looking for? We are looking to expand our culinary event execution team. This means delivering high-end, creatively plated and incredibly flavored food for our clients and their guests. As an Event Chef you will work both behind the scenes at the events preparing the food as well as showcase your culinary talents at action stations, depending on the event. We strive to deliver the highest quality, scratch made food using seasonal items. Our Event Chefs not only work the events, but also work at our commissary prepping the food that will be transported and finished onsite. This allows our team members to handle the products, learn new cooking skills and uses for food items as well as learn how to present food in a most creative and innovative way.
This position would require someone who enjoys a nontraditional work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays depending on our event schedule. We can offer up to 30-40 hours each week between in house food preparation as well as day of event execution.
