The Opportunity…

Position:  Electronic and Mechanical Assembler
Department: Operations             
Reports To: Operations Manager

Position Summary: The Electromechanical Assembler position is accountable for ensuring that all assigned production work orders are completed in a timely manor and within all quality parameters. This position requires knowledge and good practice of electromechanical assembly processes and techniques as well as minor machining required for custom product builds. This position also requires good common sense and the ability to rationalize mechanical builds on the fly without affecting the quality of the product build.                                                     

Basic Essential Functions:

  1. Follow all safety and processing procedures
  2. Maintain a clean and safe work place in accordance current company standards
  3. Follow assembly drawings and details of work orders assigned
  4. Able to kit parts based on work orders
  5. Manufacture and pack products as necessary
  6.  Is knowledgeable on tools used for electromechanical assembly
  7. Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
  8. Adheres to health, fire, and safety regulations; identifies potential safety hazards and reports such to the Operations Manager.
  9. Must be flexible and able to alternate between jobs as workload dictates
  10. Must be able to lift min 40 lbs

 Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Must have highschool diploma
  2. Must have knowledge of electromechanical assembly practices and processes
  3. Knowledge of Bill of Materials structuring.
  4. Be able to use measurement tools to identify location point of installation (i.e. dimensional understanding & layout)
  5. Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
  6. Ability to work in a drug-free environment and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  7. Is reliable and dependable.

Desirable:

  1. 2-4 years of experience in assembly of electromechanical devices
  2. Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes
  3. Good knowledge of all production and assembly tools and processes
  4. Knowledge of KanBan parts process
  5. Knowledge of lean manufacturing process

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met and encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, an employee is required to frequently use hands and fingers and possess efficient means of communicating with others. Specific vision requirements include close vision. The noise level in this environment is low. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to operate forklifts safely. Must show proficiency in the operation of all necessary equipment.

90 Day Probation Period:  

The first 90 days of continuous employment at the Company is considered an introductory period.  During this time you will learn your responsibilities, get acquainted with fellow employees and determine whether you are happy with your job.  Also, during this time, your supervisor will closely monitor your performance.

After initial probationary period, this position will be eligible to participate in the company benefits package which includes:
