Customer Service Sales Associate

Essential Duties:

  • Respond to customer orders and service inquires via email and/or phone.
  • Process customer and internal orders and manage aspects of order processing in ERP and CRM.
  • Provide pricing and delivery information.
  • Set up new customer accounts.
  • Coordinate and liaison meetings between Sales, Lab Services and Business Operations Teams to track and identify activities relating to internal projects.
  • Assist Sales Team in the qualification of leads.
  • Build rapport with customers through friendly and engaging communication.
  • Maintain database parity between, Constant Contact and ERP.
  • Dependable with proficient attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA in Business Administration or Science preferred
  • 2 years Customer Service experience
  • ERP experience required; Salesforce experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of Customer Service principles and practices
  • Knowledge of contract principles
  • Skilled in multi-tasking; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly
  • Ability to demonstrate patience in all customer contact situations; including maintaining a pleasant and professional tone and manner.

Physical Requirements/Environment:

Work is indoors in a seasonally heated and air-conditioned environment.  The position is primarily sedentary.
