Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Knife Sharpener to join our team. The Knife Sharpener will be responsible for sharpening, honing, and maintaining knives and other bladed tools to ensure they meet the highest standards of precision and performance. This role requires strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sharpen, hone, and polish knives using manual and mechanical sharpening tools.
• Inspect knives for damage or wear and make necessary repairs or adjustments.
• Maintain and operate sharpening equipment, ensuring it is clean and in good working condition.
• Communicate with customers to understand their sharpening needs and provide excellent customer service.
• Keep records of sharpening activities and track knife maintenance schedules.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience sharpening knives or other bladed tools is preferred.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to use sharpening stones, grinders, and other sharpening tools.
• Basic mechanical skills to maintain sharpening equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to lift and handle knives and sharpening tools safely.

Work Schedule:
Full-time or part-time, flexible hours may be available depending on demand.
