CPM is seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources Manager to oversee and strengthen the organization’s HR operations and workforce systems.
Position Summary
The Human Resources Manager will provide leadership and oversight for CPM’s HR functions, including employee relations, compliance, recruitment support, policy administration, and workforce development initiatives. The role will work closely with senior leadership to ensure HR practices support organizational effectiveness, staff development, and regulatory compliance.
This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage day-to-day HR operations for the organization
• Provide guidance to supervisors on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary matters
• Conduct or support workplace investigations and ensure appropriate documentation
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Oversee hiring processes in coordination with the Talent & Recruitment Coordinator
• Support onboarding and employee orientation processes
• Maintain and update HR policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate personnel records and HR documentation systems
• Assist with benefits administration and employee communications
• Partner with leadership on workforce development and retention initiatives
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
• Experience handling employee relations matters and workplace investigations
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification preferred but not required
