Digital Marketing Coordinator - Jamestown Dispensary, Yuma

Responsibilities & Duties:
- Collaborate with the executive team to promote Jamestown Dispensary through digital media and web-based marketing.
- Manage social media platforms and online reputation (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google/Yelp/Trip Advisor, etc...). Actively engage and grow Jamestown Dispensary's online community and presence.
- Manage all social media and day-to-day activities including: curation of all published content, expanding community outreach, conducting online advocacy, and managing efforts in building online reviews.
- Maintain editorial and marketing content calendar; work with the design team to develop and assemble content.
- Establish, track, and share key metrics on the success of social media programs and use that information to improve social media projects and other marketing initiatives.
- Prepare digital marketing and electronic media promotions for a variety of websites to promote public awareness and increase visitation to Jamestown Dispensary and our other locations.
- Manage our digital footprint to ensure brand consistency and accuracy throughout digital advertising, email marketing, website programs, and social media.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years prior business experience in marketing and/or social media.
- Experience with social media trends and Google Analytics.
- Photography and Graphic Design experience not required, but highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to positively influence people; must be capable of effectively interacting at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership, both verbally and through written media.
- Copyright experience a plus.
- Strong understanding of marketing concepts in the context of various print and digital media.
- Ability to work with a computer and remain seated or standing for extended periods of time.
- Proficient computer skills including typing speed of 50 WPM, a strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, Buffer, Hootsuite, Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, Google Workspace, Slack, Asana, and Smartsheet. Deep understanding of Photoshop required.
- Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills required.
- Great planning and project management skills.
- Creativity and ability to create, compose, and edit content to reflect our brand personality.
- Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
- Pro-active, Self-motivated, and result-oriented.
- Able to provide a portfolio of examples of previous work.
- At least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or 4 to 6 years of comparable experience.
