About the Role

 

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, the Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning, tidying, and maintaining the presentation of guest rooms and public spaces at Moutcha Bay Resort. Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, this full-time seasonal role ensures a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and guest readiness throughout the resort.

 

Key Responsibilities

·        Clean guest rooms, public washrooms, staff areas, common spaces, and laundry rooms.

·        Wash, dry, and fold laundry and restock rooms, carts, totes, and vehicles.

·        Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairways, lobbies, and other shared areas.

·        Report equipment or room maintenance issues to supervisors.

·        Empty waste and recycling and transport to disposal areas.

·        Complete guest room checklists and maintain high cleanliness and organization standards.

·        Follow WorkSafeBC rules and company safety procedures.

·        Safely operate housekeeping vehicles and complete daily vehicle logbooks.

·        Communicate guest requests and assist with departmental coordination.

 

Qualifications



Required

·        Valid driver’s license and driver’s abstract

·        Legally entitled to work in Canada

·        Housekeeping experience

·        Attention to detail and strong work ethic

·        High level of fitness

·        WHMIS certification

 

Preferred

·        OFA1 (Occupational First Aid Level 1)
