Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver results related to individual and branch sales goals as well as customer expectations
  2. Develop new relationships – and maintain existing relationships - working with customers throughout the loan process and loan life cycle
  3. Present financial solutions, based on customer needs, that meet their goals
  4. Educate customers on the terms and conditions of their loan to ensure a clear understanding
  5. Partner with local businesses to seek out and develop new customers
  6. Learn how to utilize credit underwriting techniques and sales tools
  7. Manage the life cycle of the loan, including collections activities, complying with all laws and regulations
  8. Promote and maintain positive relations with all employees, contacts, customers, and potential customers.
  9. Represent the bank in business development efforts and civic and community functions.

Experience and Other Requirements

  1. HS Diploma/GED
  2. Banking, Sales, or Customer Service experience preferred
  3. College degree or other advanced business and finance training preferred
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of regulatory issues, financial and credit risk management, and internal controls in a financial institution setting.
  5. Excellent analytical ability and ability to conduct thorough research, interpret and understand laws and regulations, and provide workable recommendations and solutions to problems.
  6. Must possess the ability to handle multiple, conflicting deadlines.
  7. Must possess the ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization, including Management, the Board, other Volunteers, coworkers, and the public to promote a team effort and maintain a positive attitude even under extreme pressure.

8.      Excellent oral, written, telephone, organizational and interpersonal communication skills required.

9.      Extensive use of personal PC required with proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

10.   Must be proficient using e-mail and the internet.
