Reporting to the Senior Manager, Go-to-Market & Enablement, the Product Marketing Manager will lead Go-to-Market (GTM) execution, coordination, and cross-functional project management to ensure Payworks’ product launches and GTM initiatives land on time and with measurable business impact. You will manage the GTM and launch calendar, translate GTM inputs into actionable plans for Marketing, Demand Generation and Sales, and drive alignment across teams involved in GTM.

IDENTIFY AND SOLVE PROBLEMS – IT’S WHAT YOU’LL DO
+ GTM Launch Planning & Execution - Manage the GTM and launch calendar, including tiering, prioritization by channel (inbound, outbound, expansion), and sequencing across all product and feature launches. You will lead the cross-functional GTM committee, ensuring alignment and readiness across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Client Experience stakeholders. Leverage AI tools such as Claude to build repeatable launch workflows, templates, and playbooks that improve GTM execution and reduce time-to-market across channels and integrate into GTM workflows.
+ Messaging, Narrative & Content Ownership – Manage the creation of launch narratives, messaging strategies, and sequencing for product launches, feature releases, and major updates. You will lead all market and client-facing communications related to product, ensuring consistency and clarity across channels – Align timing and messaging priorities, GTM team and business priorities, and support the creation of assets like brochures, feature sheets, web copy and email scripts as required.
+ Cross-Functional Readiness & Coordination - Coordinate cross-functional readiness activities to ensure all teams (Sales, Customer Experience, Support, Demand Generation) are prepared and aligned before launches go live. You will partner with the Competitive Intelligence Specialist to integrate market and competitive insights into GTM strategy and launch plans.
+ Measurement & Performance Tracking - Define success metrics and report on launch performance using KPIs such as on-time delivery, readiness scores, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact. You will maintain GTM dashboards that provide visibility into launch status, cross-functional readiness, and post-launch outcomes.
+ Distribution Strategy Alignment - Ensure all internal and external channels (website, email, collateral, help center, sales tools) reflect up-to-date and consistent launch messaging. Work closely with Demand Generation, Product, and Sales teams to - expand distribution of launch materials across all channels.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
+ 7+ years of experience across marketing, project management, or product management, including 3+ years in product marketing or GTM execution within B2B or SaaS environments.
+ Post secondary education in Marketing, Business, Project Management, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent blend of education and experience.
+ Proven ability to manage complex, multi stakeholder projects or launches, driving alignment across cross-functional teams, in particular, Product, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership.
+ Exceptional persona-driven communication skills with the ability to craft persuasive messaging that deeply reflects customer pain points and positions product capabilities as compelling solutions to real business problems.
+ Comfort and proficiency with AI tools (e.g., Claude, Copilot) to accelerate content creation, automate workflows, and -expand GTM operations.
+ Experience developing launch narratives, messaging strategies, and campaign content for product and feature releases.
+ Experience writing for AEO, SEO and multi channel campaigns.
+ Hands on experience with GTM and project tools such as Asana, Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Monday.com, or similar platforms.
+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define success metrics, interpret pipeline and performance metrics, and translate insights into action.
+ Familiarity with product marketing methodologies such as the Pragmatic Framework (asset).
+ Experience in workforce management, payroll, or HR tech considered a strong asset.
+ Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
+ Highly organized and proactive, able to manage multiple launches, timelines, and deadlines in a fast paced environment.
