Position Summary:
At Thrive Behavioral Health Center, we deliver industry leading peer support for those suffering from Mental Health and/or Substance Use Disorders. We are proud to set the industry standard and continue our growth. The Trainer is responsible for leading the orientation and onboarding process of new team members, as well as representing Thrive as part of our county outreach grant initiatives.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct orientation and provide support to new staff
Complete necessary paperwork to onboard new staff
Coordinate the orientation agenda and assistance from team members
Collaborate with the internal team to ensure the best quality orientation and learning experience for all
Provide ongoing support to new staff as they learn the internal systems and processes
Provide assistance on new projects to recruit and onboard new peer supporters for various counties
Represent Thrive when interacting with various organizations and agencies to support the county grant initiatives
Lead recruitment efforts for Certified Peer Supporters for the county grant initiatives
Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of the county grant initiatives on an ongoing basis and provide updates to management as requested
Interact with members of the recovery community to achieve program goals and objectives
Build relationships and manage partnerships with other organizations and groups to achieve program goals
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience and ability to teach the Thrive processes and policies
Demonstrated ability to be well organized
Display strong leadership, management and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of different pathways to recovery and social systems including evidence based practices
Understands problems analysis, decision-analysis, evaluate interventions, and contingency plans
Ability to be an active listener by asking questions and reflecting on what is being said
Proficient level of ability with computer; Microsoft Office Products
Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate information clearly
Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a training capacity
Experience with navigating the grant process
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
