We are a fast‑growing apparel manufacturing company seeking an experienced Senior Financial Controller to lead our financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and partner closely with production, sourcing, and executive leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment and understands the financial complexities of apparel manufacturing in the U.S.
What You’ll Do
• Full ownership of accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting
• Manage month‑end and year‑end close, including consolidations and audit preparation
• Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, trims, labor, overhead, and finished goods
• Budgeting, forecasting, cash‑flow management, and variance analysis
• Financial modeling to support pricing, production planning, and margin optimization
• Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and multi‑state regulatory requirements
• Cross‑functional partnership with production, sourcing, logistics, and operations
• Support external audits
• Continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting
What We’re Looking For
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
• 10+ years of experience in apparel or manufacturing accounting
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production workflows
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, BlueCherry, etc.)
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization)
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a small accounting team
• Excellent communication skills and comfort working with cross‑functional partners
• Must reside within the city of Torrance, CA, USA, and able to work on-site in the office full-time.

• Experience with import/export costing and landed cost
• Multi‑entity or multi‑state experience
• Experience supporting external audits
• Experience in factoring (invoice factoring, purchase order financing, etc.)
