The opportunity:

The Data & Reporting Analyst manages and reports on corporate data to support evidence-based decision-making. You will work with multiple data sources and partner with data owners across the organization to combine, standardize, validate, and publish trusted information. The role also supports data management and self-serve reporting within our Databricks and Microsoft Power Platform environment.

Responsibilities:

·         Manage and prepare corporate data for reporting and analytics, including standardizing, combining, and summarizing data from multiple sources.

·         Design clear, intuitive, and visually compelling data visualizations and dashboards.

·         Prepare datasets for loading into the corporate data warehouse and Customer Information System (CIS), as required.

·         Deliver operational and compliance-driven reporting aligned to internal and external stakeholder timelines (e.g., audit and evaluation schedules), including clear written summaries of results and insights.

·         Partner with internal and external stakeholders and data owners to define requirements and KPIs, confirm definitions/assumptions, and respond to ad hoc data and report requests (data warehouse, CIS, and other sources); communicate insights, limitations, and data quality considerations.

·         Build and maintain recurring Power BI reports and dashboards, including data pipelines and automated refresh; support self-serve reporting through user guidance, dashboard design support, and training.

·         Maintain data integrity through validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution with data owners; document key definitions, data sources, and refresh procedures.

·         Identify and implement process improvements across the data lifecycle (collection, transformation, and reporting), including automation of data movement and reporting where appropriate.

·         Contribute to planning exercises, as required.

·         Participate in cross-functional projects by providing data, analysis, and reporting support.

·         Perform other related duties as required.

What Will Help You Succeed?

·         University degree or college diploma in data/information management (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).

·         Experience with Power BI and Power Query.

·         Working knowledge of SQL and Python, including experience combining and analyzing data from different sources and formats.

·         Self-motivated and able to work independently; comfortable working with non-standardized data to deliver timely insights (without waiting for “production-ready” datasets).

·         Strong communication skills (written and verbal), including the ability to translate data into clear summaries for management and external audiences and to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

·         Excellent time management skills, including the ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Outstanding attention to detail.

·         Willingness to learn new applications and languages as needed.

·         Adaptability in a quickly evolving industry (new concepts, tools, and ways of working).

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Assets

·         Experience with Azure, Salesforce CRM, Generative AI, and/or the Microsoft stack (Copilot, Fabric) is considered an asset.
