Huntsville Health Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Aide to join our team. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our residents receive nutritious, well-prepared meals in a clean and safe environment. We are looking for someone who understands the importance of dietary services in a healthcare setting and takes pride in supporting resident care through food service excellence.
What You’ll Do- Assist with meal preparation and tray service according to dietary guidelines
- Deliver meals to residents while maintaining accuracy and timeliness
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
- Support special diets and modified textures as directed
- Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, dishware, and dining areas
- Assist with dishwashing, stocking, and kitchen organization
- Work collaboratively with the dietary team and leadership
- Prior dietary or food service experience required (healthcare setting strongly preferred)
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment
