MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Montebello, CA  |  $26/hr.  |  Temp-to-Hire

THE BASICS

• Regular Pay: $26 per hour

• Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

• Saturdays: Mandatory, 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

• Temp-to-hire: Convert to direct hire after 620 hours

THE JOB

You'll keep production equipment running at a precision machining shop that's been in business for 70+ years. This is hands-on mechanical work, no two days are the same.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose and fix mechanical failures — gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics

• Precision work: shaft alignment, bearing installation, tolerance repairs

• Lead overhauls, shutdowns, and emergency repairs

• Train and mentor junior mechanics

• Follow all safety rules: LOTO, confined space, machine guarding

WHAT YOU NEED

• 5–8 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience

• Strong troubleshooting skills — you diagnose, not guess

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Able to read mechanical drawings and schematics

• High school diploma or GED
